Brian is the son of Kathy (Chris) Erway and the late Larry Young who predeceased Brian on November 23, 2021. Brian was a man of many talents. He was always willing to help anyone who needed something repaired, rebuilt, refinished, renovat- ed, or built from the ground up. He had a thirst for knowledge which he satisfied with several years of college courses in various fields. Brian had a soft spot for people in need.

Compassion was always a part of his character. He once gave a single mother all of his furniture because she had none. He had an infectious smile and the kindest eyes. Besides his parents, Brian will be missed by his sisters, Kristy (Kamal) Bradford, Danielle (Nate) Miller and Chloe (Jonathon) and his brothers, Joel (Maryjo) Erway and Jordan (Victoria) Young; several nieces and nephews and special friend; Megan Huddle. In addition to his father, Brian was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents Lewis and Eleanore Kimber and his paternal grandparents Elden and Eleanor Young.

A Memorial Service will be conducted by Pastor Larry Johnson on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Victory Highway Wesleyan Church, 150 Vic- tory Highway, Painted Post, NY 14870. Young ELMIRA, NY Passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the age of 99. Joseph was born on July 20, 1922, the son of the late John and Dealia Materne Grabowski. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Barbara Shaw Grabowski, all his siblings, son-in-law, Ste- phen Cardamone, and daughter-in-law, Sharon Grabowski.He is survived by his children, Pamela Hoffman (Kenneth) Cardamone, and Thomas (Lisa) Grabowski; grandchildren, Kim (Kim) vid (Jamie) Lewis, Shelly (Gary) Southard, Kristi Bourgeois, Kelly (James) Spivey, David Walters, Stephen (Amy) Cardamone and Scott (Shelly) Cardamone; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of friends. Joe retired from the US Postal Service after 37 years as a sorter. He also served his country honorably with the US Air Corp.

Tomwas aU.S.Marine Corps veteranwho served in the Central Pacific duringWW II. He worked at Remington Rand for 22 years and was a super- visor at the time the plant closed. Tom went on to work for another 14 years at Westinghouse as a supervisor before retiring. He was a member of the Horseheads Elks Club. Tom enjoyed stay- ing active throughout his life.

He was an avid baseball player, bowler, fly fisherman and golfer. He played a year of professional baseball and was named Elmira Bowler of the Year 4 times and is in the Elmira Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Gill ROSEVILLE Kenneth Roy Hicks, Sr. age 81 passed away at his home in Roseville, early Saturday evening Jan 15, 2022 from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He and Daisy Avery were married June 8, 1958, Roseville Baptist Church by Rev.Crippen. June would have been their 64th anniversary. Survived by children, Kenneth Roy Hicks, Jr.

(Mary) Davie, Karen Ann Layton (Timothy John) grandchildren Samuel Hicks; Jakob, Jared (Corina) Layton.Also, brother James (Nancy) Miller, and sister-in-law Linda Kakretz; brother-in-law Norm Seymour.
