They also function as the Army’s Southeast Regional Medical Command headquarters (SERMC). The Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (EAMC) is a 300-bed medical treatment facility on Fort Gordon, Georgia, near Augusta, Georgia, which originally functioned as the Army's Southeast Regional Medical Command headquarters (SERMC).
