Ingredients foreasy homemade cinnamon chips:
- 10 Flour Tortillas 10 in
- ⅓ Cup Butter Melted
- ½ Cup Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
How to make homemade cinnamon chips:
First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Next, mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
Brush the melted butter onto one side of each of the flour tortillas and sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Then cut each tortilla into 8 wedges. I used a pizza cutter to do this. I cut them in half and then cut each half into 4 equal pieces.

Everyone will love homemade cinnamon baking chips and it is so easy to make. The cinnamon flavor is amazing and my kids love the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Skip the store bought snacks at the grocery store and make this instead. You will save so much money and it tastes much better too.
My kids said these are the best cinnamon tortilla chips. Sounds like a mon win to me! 🙂
What variations can you make this recipe?
We love cinnamon but you can try other flavors too. Once baked, they get crispy like tortilla chips and make a great snack.
You can try just sea salt if you want a savory snack. We also love ranch flavor and the dressing mix is great with this.
Also, you can create fiesta ranch pretzels by using a fiesta ranch dressing mix packet instead of the traditional ranch seasoning packet. The fiesta mix add a delicious chipotle, tomato flavor and tastes great as well.
Garlic salt is also yummy. Try addingred pepper flakes if you like spicy.
As you can see the ideas are endless for these chips. So, go ahead and try the cinnamon sugar and then start experimenting with more flavor combinations. So fun and tasty.
Not to mention budget friendly! These are great as lunch box snacks, after school snacks, movie night and more. You get the idea!
I have always thought those prepackaged snacks were so expensive. I like to make a batch of these and divide them in between snack size baggies. It only takes a few extra minutes and saves a ton of money.
Give it a try! Let us know how you like this snack idea and how it turns out for you. Our entire family really loves these. Yum!
Once you try them, you will know why.
